The Wolcott United Methodist Church is holding its yard and bake on Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14 from 9am – 3pm. Along with a table of antique items (make us an offer), housewares, books, DVD's, children's toys (including a beautiful, small, infant, rocking horse), a pair of snowshoes, Christmas and other holiday items, and small electronic items, we have a small, antique secretary desk ($30), a 15- drawer sewing bureau with smaller to larger drawers ($30), a 19-inch flat-screen TV ($25), two Sound of Music Collector's plates ($10 each), wildlife photographs by local photographer Donna Underwood Owens ($15 - $25), and many other miscellaneous items. The bake sale will include a large variety of cookies, whoopie pies, raspberry filled cookies, almond poppyseed bread, homemade bread and rolls, several different kinds of pies, baked beans and more. Proceeds will be divided between our local missions' projects and our historic restoration fund. Hope to see you there.
