The Craftsbury Chamber Players continue their six-week summer festival on Wednesday, August 11 at 7:30 pm at the Elley-Long Center in Colchester. Throughout the summer the concerts explore the influence of folk traditions and popular music on chamber music. Featured repertoire this week is Ernő Dohnányi's Serenade in C Major, Op. 10 for string trio, Igor Stravinski's Suite Italienne (from Pulcinella) for violin and piano, and Amy Beach's Quintet in f-sharp minor, Op. 67 for piano and strings.
Performers are Mary Rowell and Katherine Winterstein, violins, Molly Godman, viola, Frances Rowell, cello, and Marcantonio Barone, piano. Admission is by donation.
