August 1-7 is National Farmers Market Week, a celebration of all the good things that farmers markets do for your community, for farmers, and for the planet!
By buying local produce, meat, and more at your local farmers market, you're not just supporting small farmers, you're also keeping your money within the community and you're helping support practices like regenerative and sustainable farming. At the same time, you're getting the freshest, tastiest, and healthiest food you can find in the area.
Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning, right? So come down to the Bennington Farmers' Market this Saturday. We'll have music from Honeysuckle, hot meals from Corner of India, and coffee from Howk House for you to enjoy while you shop for veggies, jams, meats, honey, bread, spreads, cheese, baked goods, crafts, and more. Don't forget to use your P-EBT card to purchase tokens at the market manager's booth, where we'll also be selling canvas tote bags to support the market.
Parking is available across from Tastee Freeze or in front of and behind the chamber of commerce building. We ask that you continue to wear a mask if unvaccinated.
See you soon!
