Residents of surrounding towns are invited to participate in activities and courses from the Charlotte Senior Center.

All Wed. lectures will be held online via Zoom through the summer months. The free talks at 1pm are live and interactive; they include closed captioning. Invitations/links to join the event are posted here, and they do not require registration. Links are also posted on the website at CharlotteSeniorCenterVT.org.

Wed., 8/04 at 1pm: WHO WAS MARK ROTHKO? with Linda Finkelstein
Marcus Rotkovitch was born in Dvinsk, Latvia and immigrated to Portland Oregon as a youngster. After being recruited to Yale, he eventually settled in New York City to become a world-renowned abstract painter. His journey will be a journey for all into the spirit of color, form, and space. ~ Linda Finkelstein is a mixed media artist and former art teacher, with degrees in art history and art education.
