The Craftsbury Chamber Players continue their six-week summer festival on Thursday, August 5 at 7:30 pm at the Hardwick Town House, 127 Church St in Hardwick. Throughout the summer the concerts explore the influence of folk traditions and popular music on chamber music. Featured repertoire this week is Mozart's Violin Sonata in e minor No. 21, K 304, two works by violinist/composer Jesse Montgomery for string quartet (Source Code and Strum), and Dovorak's monumental Quintet No. 2 in A major for piano and strings.
Performers are Mary Rowell and Katherine Winterstein, violins, Wendy RIchman, viola, Frances Rowell, cello, and Inessa Zaretsky, piano. Admission is by donation.
