On Sunday, June 8th Everyone’s Child of Moretown is teaming up with the Waterbury Rotary Club to conduct the 2nd Annual Walk for Water in Waterbury! All proceeds from this event will go toward the building of a much needed medical clinic in the village of Lanet Umoja in Kenya, Africa.

The walk begins at 2 PM at Juniper’s Fare in Waterbury and simulates a child’s daily trek to a muddy river in Kenya to get their daily supply of drinking water. We’ll fill our buckets at the river, bring them back through town and have a ceremonial dumping into the river at the bridge. Everyone will be welcome to head back to Juniper’s where all participants will be eligible for a free ice cream cone! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family and friends!

NO PRE-REGISTRATION NECESSARY. MINIMUM SUGGESTED DONATION OF $25 (all donations accepted - even if you don’t walk!! In that case, please go to www.everyoneschild.net to make a secure donation.)
