Vermont Women and the Civil War
August 7 @ 7:00 PM, IN-PERSON
Kick off Old Stone House Day the night before with a FREE talk by Howard Coffin on Vermont Women and the Civil War. With nearly 35,000 of Vermont's able-bodied men at war, the monumental task of keeping more than 30,000 farms in operation became very much a female enterprise during the Civil War. Join us for an in-person presentation at the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village.
