Sigourney Weaver became a star in "Alien", a 1979 film so weird, wonderful, and terrifying that it spawned a host of sequels, comic books, games and toys. And now, Phantom Theater is producing "Alien" in the Edgcomb Barn on the 6th and 7th of August at 8 pm (first come, first served, no reservations). The show will be replete with a fantastic space ship, props, and costumes constructed by the talented engineers and artists of Prickly Mountain, famed for its July 4th floats, and a cast of characters to die for— veteran Phantom actors familiar from past hits, such as "Jaws" and "Pure Gold" and "Raising Rapunzel." Wait until you see what happens to these characters, all but one of whom get creamed by the alien. And, just wait till you see the alien, itself, a truly unforgettable Phantom Theater creature, and "Alien", the Theater's equally unforgettable creation!
