Just a reminder to all the gardeners out there!
The Barton Community Giving Garden invites you to join them for a presentation on extending the season in your vegetable garden. In the short season we have in Vermont, low tunnels are an effective method for increasing the growing season by several weeks - both in the fall/winter and in the spring. This hands-on workshop will discuss different materials and demonstrate the building and use of a simple low tunnel, which is also effective for protection from pests. Presented by Gordon Clark, UVM Extension Master Gardener and Coordinator of the Vermont Victory Gardens project.
