A Day for Peace - Commemorating the Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Come to City Hall Park to join a commemorative event that will include activities for children & adults, including painting for peace, origami crane folding, sidewalk chalk drawing, a penny spending survey, the telling of the Sadako story, discussion on the risks and benefits of nuclear weapons & film screening. Sponsored by The Burlington Branch of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), Vermont International Film Festival, and Burlington City Arts.
