Many of us realize the challenges of asking others for money to help organizations that you are not familiar with, but as a member of the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of Vermont (BIAVT), there are extreme budgetary constraints this program finds itself in. They are very much depending on this particular fund-raiser as well as the annual conference held in October. We are a very small state, but we find that we have higher than our per capita number of brain injuries occurring here - perhaps due to our ski resorts, perhaps to our mountain bike trails, but no matter, our injured community members should not have to go it alone. The services that this BIAVT has offered our own family in the past and ongoing have been much-needed and appreciated. Placing us in contact with knowledgeable and caring folks each time we've left the hospital or rehabilitation facility, has brought our family through our challenges as they arise. We are more than thankful.
If you are able and care to help out this organization, please go to our team web page to donate (Sasha's team): https://www.classy.org/team/361787
Any amount will be very much appreciated and utilized to provide directly to those in need.
Thank you so very much for your kindness and thought,
Kate Ross, Larry Becker, Sasha, and Alena Ross Becker
