Shehadi Coffee House Concert Aug. 14

The Pawlet Public Library announces its 2021 Coffee House Concert Series featuring well-known, award-winning musicians and composers and an open mic opportunity. Freddi Shehadi headlines the first concert on Aug. 14, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Shehadi is an Emmy Award/Mobius Award-winning guitarist/composer and producer. He began is musical career in the early 80s in New York City and quickly ascended to writing and producing music for pop music artists, movies and major television networks including NBC, CBS, and ABC. His work at NBC and The Today Show earned him a Mobius Award, Golden Eagle Award and New York Festivals Award.

On Oct. 30, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., film and TV composer Mason Daring, and premier vocalist Jeanie Stahl perform together, celebrating over 40 years of musical collaboration. It's Open Mic night for anyone who sings or plays music on Nov. 27, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Vermont Symphony Orchestra's principal cellist John Dunlop performs the final concert of the season on Dec. 12, 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

All concerts will be held in the restored Pawlet Town Hall Auditorium, 122 School Street, across the street from the Pawlet Public Library. Advance tickets ($5 per person) are now available for purchase online at ww.pawletpubliclibrary.wordpress.com or at the library. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cash only at the door.
