The Marble Valley Runners are putting on the 8th annual Mother's Day 5k Run/Walk/Stroller Run this Sunday at 10 a.m. to benefit the Rutland County Women's Network and Shelter. New for this year: the course begins and ends at Giorgetti Park and winds through the Northwest Neighborhood. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. the day of the race. There will be T-shirts for the first 75 entrants, carnations for all women participants (whether or not you are a mom!), plus snacks and prize drawings for all participants. Runners and walkers pushing strollers are strongly encouraged! Entry fee is $20. In past years we have been able to give a significant donation to the Women's Shelter. Please join us on Sunday!
