Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group – July 29

Past event
Jul 29, 2021, 6 to 8 PM

The Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group brings together people researching their family history in relation to slavery. If you have identified ancestors who were slave-holders / enslavers or ancestors who were enslaved, we invite you to participate. We share research experiences and discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Each meeting includes a time to discuss how our research connects to the current struggles for racial justice. Our next monthly meeting is Thursday, July 29 from 6-8 pm via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
