Hello Front Porch Forum!

My name is Vance Barton and I am the founder for the Rupert Mountain Theatrefest. This was originally an idea to put on a small performance in a backyard which transpired into a full blown theatrical experience in Rupert Vermont.

The second annual RMTF is in the works and will be occurring AGAIN this year on the 28th of August at the Rupert Town Green.

You can expect to see everything from amateur to professional performances within a series of short plays and works. This years event will host a special blue grass band to to end the night!

RMTF is donation funded and put on by the community for the community. We do not ostracize viewers who cannot pay to watch good theater. As an actor who grew up poor in Vermont, theater was hard to see. We do ask for suggested donations to help give back to all who are in the midst of rehearsal but this is optional. We will have Broadway guests and local legends stepping onto stage to give all an entertaining night!

Below I have provided the FB page to RMTF as well as the Go Fund Me information. We have already almost raised a grand towards our 4000 goal. We hope to see you all there and keep your eyes peeled for posters flyers and a special VT News Guide ad starting August 1st.
