South Hero Recreation Bicycle Event #3-Last Chance before school starts!

We all had a great time on the rainy bike trip to Plattsburgh on July 21. The last trip is also to Plattsburgh by way of West Shore Road , the Grand Isle Ferry and the bike trail in New York and we will hope for a sunnier day. The July trip was chilly so we got hot chocolate and grilled cheese at Dunkin Donuts. This time we are hoping for ice cream at Stewarts! Group biking event for ages 8 and over. Group size is limited to the first 20 respondents. Bring at least $5 for ice cream and bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water in a backpack for riding or a bag attached to the bike. Carol T can supervise 6 participants but will need another adult for each group of 6 riders. Riders need a good working road or mountain bike. Meet at the Worthen library parking lot on Route 2 at 10 AM on Monday, August 23, 2021 and plan to be back around 2-3PM that day. Free event for anyone from South Hero who wants to participate and the Town Recreation department will cover the ferry ride.
