Next Week (7/26-7/30) Green Mountain Performing Arts will be holding a week long bottle drive to raise money for the Taber Merchant Scholarship and the studio's Performance Troupe.
The Taber Merchant Scholarship Fund was inaugurated by the generous family of a former GMPA student to provide need-based scholarships, and a limited number of merit-based scholarships, to deserving children and youth.
This year, our studio's own Performance Troupe dancers will be competing in one or two dance competitions for the first time ever. GMPA is super excited to watch these students on the competition stage later this year.
Part of the funds raised from this fundraiser will help our Troupe dancers be able to compete in these competitions. The remainder of the funds raised will go toward scholarships for students in need to make sure that we never have to turn away a student.
