We have a handful of used kid/youth bikes donated by Laraway Youth & Services. Four are in fairly decent shape, need some minor repair and maintenance work. We have five more bikes that need parts and/or fairly substantial work.
This Saturday we will give them away at the COVID vaccine clinic from 11 to 2. First come, first served! We are also selling helmets for $10, provided by Copley Hospital's community health program.
Anyone over 18 y.o. can also get the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shot, or their second dose of Pfizer shots. Remember to bring the vaccine card you got with the first shot. Call Town Offices if you have any questions, at 635-2626. The SkatePark is off Rt. 15 just west of the Village. Turn on Wescom Rd. (between the Electric Coop and Jolley Store), then turn right at Park Loop.
The next clinic here will be Tuesday July 27, at Tuesday Night Live--6 to 8:30 p.m. They're giving the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine. Call Town Offices if you have any questions, at 635-2626. Tuesday Night Live is on School Street; you can't miss it. And you DON'T want to miss live music, dancing, seeing friends and neighbors, and a great array of food vendors!
