Hampton Inn St Albans continues the 30th year of Summer Sounds concerts at home in Highgate with singer-songwriter and Summer Sounds favorite John Bartus flying straight from the Florida Keys to reprise an evening of songs of a tropical island town on the new stage on the Highgate Arena lawn on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Members of the Summer Sounds Young Stars will showcase a few numbers during the concert.
The Summer Sounds concerts are sponsored by the Town of Highgate and the All Arts Council, and underwritten by Chevalier Drilling, Desorcie's Market, Drummac Septic Service, Hampton Inn St Albans, O. C. McCuin & Sons, and Ray's Extrusion Dies Tubing.
The community based All Arts Council brings the performing arts to northwestern Vermont. The concerts are always on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m., always in a town park, and always free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair as you settle in to enjoy outdoor family music and festivities. The rain site is the Highgate Methodist Church.
