Join the Mad River Libraries for "Turtle Tales and Painted Scales'' on the Warren Public Library lawn at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 25. We'll spin some turtle stories and decorate fabric "scutes" (turtle scales) to add to quilted "carapace" (turtle shell) which will hang in the libraries. We'll also have a meet and greet with a live tortoise!
This event is part of the Mad River Libraries' summer learning program, "Tails and Tales." It is free and suitable for all ages but requires advance registration:
