Past event
Jul 23, 2021, 6 to 8:30 PM

You're invited to an evening with UVM Professor Aaron Kindsvatter in conversation with Ellie Martin, with a question-and-answer period to follow. Meet up for hand shakes and a bite to eat. Open to all.

Ellie Martin, a conservative who votes Republican and Aaron Kindsvatter, a liberal who votes Democrat will team up in a conversation to discuss what they have in common.

Aaron Kindvatter, Ph.D. is Professor of Counselor Education and Associate Professor in UVM's Graduate Counseling Program.
Personal Values: Counselors are aware of--and avoid imposing--their own values, attitudes, belief and behaviors. Counselors respect the diversity of clients, trainees and research participants, and seek training in areas in which they are at risk of imposing their values onto clients, especially when the counselor's values are inconsistent with the client's goals or are discriminatory in nature.
Counterweight: Providing support to those upon whom the secular cult of Critical Social Justice is being imposed.

Ellie Martin is chair of the Underhill Republican Party. A Christian with a love of God, family, and country. As one who cherishes our God-given freedom, she continues to think of America as the land of the free and the home of the brave. A mother of six and retired realtor. She often works setting up community events that foster conservative values.

Sponsored by the Underhill Republican Party. All are welcome. Come share your views.
