Everyone is welcome at the third open meeting about the Middlebury bond vote: tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6, at 8 p.m. in the Ilsley Library meeting room. CFMF hopes that the bond, Article 1 on the May 13 ballot, will be defeated so that all Middlebury residents can participate in a full and inclusive planning process before launching a huge construction project that will radically change our town .
Although our position on the bond is clear, we believe the two previous meetings have illustrated the value of respectful, face-to-face conversation on controversial subjects.
