South Hero Land Trust is partnering with Folsom to offer outdoor-based camps at the South Hero Recreation Park this summer! We will be based at the Folsom Learning Garden outside the school, with daily explorations of the pond, forests, and meadows of the rec park.
Camps are packed to the brim with fun activities and games that will deepen our appreciation for the natural world, teach us gardening skills, cooking skills, survival/traditional nature skills, and more. Schedule: The upcoming camp on August 9-13 is geared for students in grades 5-8. Each camp is a half-day program, from 8 AM-12 PM. The previous camp on July 12-16 was geared toward students in grades 3-4.
Spots Available: We have a few more spots left in the August 9-13 camp, but encourage your to sign up your student as soon as possible!
Learn More: The camps are free for any student who is a resident of South Hero or the other Islands towns. Snacks are provided. Contact us if you have questions or concerns about transportation options.
