Hi everyone,

I will be leading a wildflower walk to observe the earliest plants in bloom next Saturday at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. I am a botanist with Vermont Fish and Wildlife and a graduate student, and I really enjoy spending time in nature, teaching others about plants, and identifying plant species.

The walk will take place on Saturday May 10, from 10-12.
Meet at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, north parking lot, and we’ll carpool to the walk location nearby, if necessary. We'll probably explore both hardwood forest and cedar swamp environments to see what's growing and blooming.
