Free Concert & Ice Cream Social

Past event
Jul 19, 2021, 7:30 to 8:30 PM

The St. Johnsbury Band will present a new concert Monday evening 7:30 PM from the bandstand in Courthouse Park, Main Street St. Johnsbury starting at 7:30 PM, weather permitting. The Caledonian Record is sponsoring the ice cream social with Chocolate Moose Tracks, White House Cherry and Coconut Chocolate Almond ice cream. (!)

Both the concert and ice cream social are free and open to the public. NVRH volunteers will be the "Celebrity Scoopers."

The concert will feature famous newspaper marches; 'Washington Post,' 'Chicago Tribune' and the 'Caledonian Record.' Show tunes, special musical features and an Overture will also be offered. We hope to play the 'American Red Cross March' to honor front line medical workers and the NVRH volunteers. Gary Aubin and Kristen Harter will be the Music Directors and 2021 marks the band's 191st season. (No, Gary Aubin hasn't conducted all of them!)

Come spend a pleasant evening on the Courthouse grounds enjoying a live band concert and free ice cream. You may want to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. All concerts are "kid friendly."
