Again this year our letter carriers and the community unite to assist those in need of supplemental food. The postal worker’s annual food drive will be held this Saturday, May10. Our local food shelves, pantries and meal sites greatly benefit from the generous donations from our neighbors after this collection. When you shop this week, please pick up a few extra items to leave at your mailbox for your letter carrier. Please make sure items are within the marked expiration date, and the packaging is in good condition or these items cannot be redistributed to those who use our services.
