Woofstock is back on Saturday, August 28 starting at 10am on the Village Green, Woodstock, VT. The fun will begin with a dog parade down the main path grouped in categories - Most Precious Petites, Mightiest Mid-size, Gentle Giants, Ms. Fashionistas and Mr. Beau Geste. Then to the Ring to see each category of dogs. The judges will select a Best in Show from the category winners but the spectators will decide the Crowd Favorite by cheering, clapping, and hooting. Without a doubt, all dogs are winners and receive ribbons and bandanas. Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society will be present so you can learn about pet adoption. This fun-filled event is sponsored by the Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library and enables us to make valuable contributions to our beloved library. All dogs must be registered in advance of August 26th.
