Covid note: Please distance and mask as makes you comfortable. There should be plenty of room on the grass to spread out and hear the music, and in addition to the 3-walled airplane hanger we'll have a couple of canopies set up for shade and protection from light rain.
The Moon Shells are a five-piece Oldtime String Band from Connecticut. Grounded in the Appalachian fiddle tradition, The Moon Shells draw on musical traditions from Louisiana, West Africa, and Eastern Europe. They create a fusion of traditional oldtime stringband music with deep rhythms and joyful songwriting.
In addition to the concert, this event is a fiddlers gathering and campout hosted at the scenic Catamount Airfield in Lower Cabot, VT. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic for the show. Bring tents, sleeping bags, instruments and supplies to stay for the night!
