Save The Date: Jimmy's back! Stop by the East Calais General Store building for some mouth-watering BBQ/Southern/Cajun takeout for sale on Saturday, August 7th from 3-7pm. Come early... it sold out last time, and there will be some new items on the menu! 

This event is organized by the East Calais Community Trust to raise funds to renovate and reopen the East Calais General Store. Please consider bringing a cash or check donation; we hope to start renovating this winter and reopen next summer. We've had great fundraising success thus far but are still $300K short -- please help us close the gap! For more information see www.eastcalaiscommunitytrust.org. 

And in the meantime, stop by Extra Row with any extra veggies from your garden, or to pick up some fresh produce (and maybe eggs) grown by your neighbors. Saturdays from 9am-11am at the East Calais store building, except the third Saturday of the month, when people are encouraged to visit the Woodbury/Calais Foodshelf.
