Complementary Healthcare Discussion at Stowe Free Library

Past event
Jun 10, 2014, 6 to 7 PM

I will be hosting a talk and discussion at the Stowe Free Library on June 10 at 6 PM. The topic is "Teaching the mind and the body to communicate: Why bother?" We will discuss why the mind and the body seem to have difficulty working together, and how this can lead to stress, discomfort and illness - all of which can be avoided or reduced. We will encourage participation from the audience and expect a lively discussion. If you have an interest in how your mind works, or why the little voice in your head is such a pessimist, or why you can't turn off your thoughts and go to sleep, you should come and join us.
