The Richmond Congregational Church will host the next local American Red Cross blood drive on August 4 from Noon to 6PM. An appointment is required. Eligible donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or go online to redcrossblood.org for more information and to make a blood donation appointment. Use RAPIDPASS (http://www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass), a pre-donation & health history questionnaire, to reduce the wait time. Complete it on line on August 4 before you arrive to donate.

Did you know every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood? Make a difference in our community and beyond and help ensure blood is on the shelves before it is needed for trauma victims, transplant recipients and those being treated for cancer and sickle cell disease. You may have been hearing about the critical need for blood products locally. Please consider this summertime drawing as one of your must do activities.
