Everyone is invited to come to the newly-painted Adamant Community Club for an open house on Monday, July 12 from 3:00 to 5:30. We are eager to share with the community the results of a generous grant for much-needed exterior painting, partially funded by the 1772 Foundation in cooperation with the Preservation Trust of Vermont. Matching funds came from the Freeman Foundation, the Town of Calais, and from community members. The stellar painting was done by Hodgkins Painting of Plainfield. There will be refreshments provided, plus music by the local traditional Swedish ensemble that was so popular at the Black Fly Festival.
