Calling all Winooski writers: Join the Winooski Memorial Library and Writer/Professor Mary Hussmann in ongoing, monthly writing workshops. Winooski Writes! seeks to provide an encouraging, supportive, and inclusive safe space for writers of all levels to practice and grow their craft. Through peer review, regular writing practice, and craft talk, we'll learn to find and hone our voices on the page.
Writers of all genres are welcome to join; Ages 18+
Our first meetup is on July 15, 2021, from 6 - 7:30 @ the Winooski Senior Center

At our first meeting, we'll talk writing and collaborate on the structure, times, and format for our monthly meetings. No huge time commitment, though regular attendance is highly recommended.
About the Instructor, Mary Hussmann: Mary Hussmann co-edited The Iowa Review before she taught creative writing and environmental studies at St. Lawrence University. She has published poetry, creative nonfiction, interviews, and reviews in The North American Review, The Kenyon Review, Southern Cultures, and Brevity, among others.
