The Vergennes Parks and Recreation Committee is having a volunteer trail work day on Saturday, July 10th at 9am. We are meeting to clear the corridor for a new trail that will connect New Haven Rd to the trails behind the highschool. Eventually the hope is to build a trail that creates a connection between New Haven Rd and Monkton Rd. This trail will be part of a critical unfinished section of the Vergennes Pedestrian Loop, a loop that will circumnavigate the city with over 5 miles of trail and provide outdoor recreation to community members and visitors alike.

Place: Vergennes Connector Trail Trailhead (Between 55 & 57 New Haven Rd) 500ft east of A&D Automotive on the north side of New Haven Rd
