Past event
Jul 11, 2021, 1 to 4:30 PM

KeruBo is a Vermont-based singer/songwriter born in Kendu Bay, Kenya. She has been a working musician for more than 20 years. Her musical influences range from traditional African music to gospel, blues, and Afro-jazz. She was a background vocalist and dancer for legendary Afro-Jazz artists such as the late Achieng Abura and Suzanna Owiyo. They have been the strongest influences in her love for Afro-Jazz and the World Music genre.

Her debut album titled "Hali ya Utu" is Swahili for the state of humanity. KeruBo challenges the human condition and the need to reconnect to what "utu", or brotherhood really means.

Doors open at 1pm for CARRY IN/CARRY OUT picnicking on the Isham barn lawn.
Doors to concert open at 2:30pm for a 3pm concert in the historic, renovated Isham Family Farm Barn.
