If the current, crazy, national weather has you worrying about the rapidly changing climate and what you can do about it- here's a thing:
On Monday, July 12 at 5:30 pm at the St. J. Welcome Center (train station), the St. J. Town Energy Committee will be presenting the Enhanced Energy Plan draft to the St. J. Selectboard and public.
We need public support and input from St. J. residents to gain approval of the updated and enhanced plan. The meeting will begin with a brief presentation about the plan, followed by time for comments or questions from the public.
Please donate an hour of your time to participate in this public hearing and help St.J. adopt a plan to address the challenges of climate change on a local level and plan for an energy efficient future.
A second hearing will be held on July 26, 5:30 pm at the Welcome Center in St.J. if you can't make the first one.
The Town Energy Committee appreciates your input and welcomes ( and seeks) more members. Please consider becoming a member to fulfill your civic duty. Each member finds their niche. Thank you.
