Have you tried an e-bike? E-bikes are a great way to get around, and with the battery-powered, pedal-assist feature, miles feel shorter and cargo feels lighter. E-bikes can significantly increase your ability to make biking a part of your life.
Stowe is holding another E-bike Demo Day this Saturday, July 10! From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., participating bike shops around town will have e-bikes to try, including:
AJs, 350 Mountain Road
Hitchhiker, Baggy Knees Shopping Center, 394 Mountain Road
Pinnacle, Mountain Road, 1652 Mountain Road
MountainOps, 4081 Mountain Road
Ranch Camp, 311 Mountain Road
Also at Hitchhiker, Local Motion will have the RadWagon and the Ride1Up models to try.
Reservations for those are required at https://www.localmotion.org/travelingebikes
Reservations are not necessary to try the other bikes.
The E-bike Lending Library with Local Motion has been a success! Through the program, many of you have been able to loan out one of the e-bikes for free for a few days. Only a few spots left so check it out at https://www.localmotion.org/travelingebikes to make a reservation.
This summer's e-bike program is brought to you by the Stowe Energy Committee. For questions, contact energycommittee@stowevt.gov
