Arrive at 5pm for Workshop-to-Performance using improvisation and co-created choreography - seated dancers welcome!
1. If you can, please wear: YELLOW TOP, BLUE BOTTOM, SEQUINS OR METALLICS - THINK STARS! All ideas are welcome!
2. Clothes you can move easily in and COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR
3. Bring WATER and snack

Alana Rancourt Phinney (MFA) is a Vermont-based dance artist. She has been facilitating creative movement programming for varied populations for over twenty years. In 2013, she founded Park Dancing in the Philadelphia area to provide opportunities to the community to move together to promote shared creative engagement and wellness. She is thrilled to bring Park Dancing to Waterbury Center!
Andrea Soberman is an early childhood educator, preschool specialist, and now Director of Musical Munchkins with Andrea® in Vermont, opened her first Musical Munchkins® school in Orange County, NY in January of 1993. "Miss Andrea" graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and graduate studies in music and art. Andrea has given workshops at local early childhood education conferences and has performed at many libraries, daycares, and nursery school programs throughout the Hudson Valley New York and Vermont as well as performing at birthday parties.
