An Evening of Bawdy Vaudeville and Vintage Burlesque!
Burlington's original, crass but kindhearted Spielpalast Cabaret returns to the stage this May for its 13th season of transporting audiences back to the Weimar German kabarett of the 1920's. This years' all star cast of both new and returning members promises to be the best Spielpalast yet! Be prepared for a raucous evening with a permeable fourth wall, decorous decadence and Weimar style wit full of laughs and passion; this unique troupe of degenerates guarantees a playful, sassy cabaret featuring burlesque and vaudeville at its very best! The show presents a melange of saucy songs, dazzling dances, drama, performance art, gallows humor, political satire, sex positivism, and dadaist absurdity. The troupe, comprised of 11 dancers, 9 players, and a 6 piece jazz ensemble, collaboratively creates the show each year for a truly unique theatrical experience.

Tickets for the 2014 production of “Spielpalast Cabaret” are $28 in Advance/ $30 Day of Show.

Pending availability, tickets will also be available for sale at the venue on the night of the show, beginning one hour prior to show time. We anticipate that most shows will sell out in advance, so tickets should be purchased early to avoid disappointment. And remember, Grandma and Grandpa will love the show, but leave the kiddies at home!
