The Valley Players will present Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Tim Kelly, weekends July 9-18 at the Valley Players Theater on Main Street in Waitsfield, VT. Audiences of all ages are invited to follow the White Rabbit to a delightful, entertaining world of childhood fantasies as Alice encounters talking animals, comic royalty and races where the contestants (literally) run in circles. The Mad Hatter's frantic tea party, the clumsy White Knight, and critical flowers all serve to distract Alice until the finale has her watching a trial where she suddenly finds herself the accused! This one-hour play gives a modern view to an old classic, where nonsense makes quite good sense. The show runs Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30, and Saturdays & Sundays at 3:00, July 9-18.
