Bike to Burlington for Lunch! Group biking event for ages 8 and over to participate without a parent. Group size is limited to the first 20 respondents since that is the ferry capacity. Bring at least $5 for ice cream and bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water in a backpack for riding or a bag attached to the bike. Carol T can supervise 6 participants but will need another adult for each group of 6 riders. Riders need a good working bicycle either road bike or mountain, a spare tube in case of flats. Meet at the parking lot on Martin Road at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 and plan to be back around 3PM that day. Free event for anyone from South Hero who wants to participate and if the $5 for ice cream is too much for your family, the Town Recreation department will cover it.
