The Grand Isle Historical Society invites you to stop and see 1783 Hyde Log Cabin, the 1814 Corners Schoolhouse and the new Worthen Barn.
After being closed last summer because of COVID, the site will once again be open for visitors on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M, July 2 to September 4. Admission this season is by donation which will help maintain the collections.
A docent will be glad to tell you about the buildings, the artifacts, and their history. This will be the first summer the Worthen Barn will be open to the public. Come see the antique tools and agricultural items collected over the years. Check out the mystery item – maybe you know what it is!
Please stop at the site and step back in time. 228/230 US Route 2, next to the Grand Isle Elementary School.
