When: July 8th, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Join us for the next Winooski Partnership for Prevention Take-Out Community Dinner on Thursday, 07/08 featuring a free meal from local chef Alganesh Michael of A Taste of Abyssinia (who will be cooking up traditional Ethiopian & Eritrean cuisine)!
MENU
- Spiced Beef
- Curried Lentils
- Collard Greens (mildly spiced)
- Injera (from Alganesh, the chef: this is a fermented bread and it serves as edible utensil. It is the vehicle of this cuisine, without injera, this cuisine isn't authentic.)
- Each pick-up will include one free lockable medicine bag. This bag is part of our #SafeStorage series, ensuring that substances stay out of young hands.
- From the WPP: prevention tips for you and your family!
TO RESERVE YOUR MEAL: There are sixty-five free meals available to Winooski residents and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve a meal, email Jane at jhenderson@winooskiprevention.org or call and leave a message on our office voicemail, 802-655-4565, and let her know the following information:
- How any servings (up to 4 per family)?

- How many vegetarian meals?
- How many gluten free meals?
- What time you will be picking up your meal on 07/08 (pick-up is from 4PM to 6PM sharp from the lobby of the O'Brien Center)?
