Do you enjoy going for a run on a nice summer day? Do you love digging a spoon into a cold pint of ice cream? Why not both at the same time?
The rules of the Brain Freezer 5K are simple: run half a 5k race, stop, down one pint of ice cream, then finish the race! You can go for speed or take it easy, as long as you have fun doing it. For the last 9 years the BF5K has been raising money for People Helping People Global, a Vermont based international non-profit that provides interest-free microloans to people living on less than $2 a day.
This year the BF5K is going virtual (July 10th)! We want to keep our racers and volunteers safe during the ongoing pandemic. To participate virtually, you can run the race on your own or with friends and family. Record your time and then upload it to see how you stacked up against the other racers.
