Hi there! Thank you for being interested in volunteering for us on July 4th, the day after the Burlington July 3rd Celebration!

We appreciate your willingness to help us out in the early morning to do a final micro-sweep before we sort through all the waste generated from the event.

We are looking for volunteers from 8 AM - 10 AM to meet at the Coast Guard at the Burlington Waterfront to help with the final micro-sweep of trash before people start making their way down to the waterfront park.

Our crew will be doing a full sweep of the waterfront the night before to capture most of the waste. Since it is dark out, there tends to be some waste left behind that we couldn't see at night. That's where you come in!

About Us:
We're Waste Free Earth, Burlington Parks & Rec's zero waste partner for the July 3rd Celebration. Our main objective is to divert as much waste away from the landfill as possible and into composting and recycling initiatives.

With your help, we can make this possible! We greatly appreciate you taking the time to help keep Burlington clean and waste-free. Although this is a last minute gig, we are confident we will be able to exceed expectations.
