Salisbury's Ice Cream Social is back for its 46th year, and we are looking forward to seeing our holiday friends once more as Vermont opens up! The 2021 version of the traditional 4th of July event at the Salisbury Church will be a bit untraditional, though. The church is replacing its heating system, and the lower level social space and kitchen will not be available. As a result the social will be a bit simplified in this transitional year. It will be held under an events tent and on the meetinghouse lawn. We will have to do without the elaborate array of baked goods, but there will be the generous servings of ice cream and toppings for sundaes and cones; there will be the holiday decorations; there will be the opportunities to eat, meet, and visit. Prices will be by donation, with the proceeds dedicated to benefit the Vermont Food Bank. Come and enjoy from 2:00-4:00, Sunday July 4, at the meetinghouse in Salisbury Village.
