Middlebury Maple Run-Road Closures Sun

There will be a few brief road closures next Sunday, May 4, as part of the Middlebury Maple Run. This event brings 800-900 runners to town and the closures are designed to keep both the runners and motorists safe. This event has an economic impact to the town in excess of $150,000!

7:30 to 11:30 am:
Restricted access to South Street Ext. beyond the intersection of South Street & Porter Field Road, except for PMC, HPHRC, EastView employees, Porter Hospital visitors, South Street residents and emergency vehicles. There will also be a barricade at Morse Road.

8:55 to 9:10 am
South Street is briefly shut down to traffic (except emergency vehicles) at South Main, Main Street rotary, College Street, Weybridge Street. The race starts at 9 a.m. As soon as runners pass onto Weybridge Street at 9:10 the roads will re-open.
