The Deerfield Valley Players is auditioning for the 1973 award-winning musical based on Anthony Burgess' adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac. This unabashedly sentimental and swash-buckling production is great fun with its swordplay and lovers' deceptions. The production will be directed by F. Reed Brown director, actor, and Artistic Director of the Freed- Yorick Theatre Ensemble. A professor of theatre at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and the University of Northern Vermont- Johnson, Reed has over 60 productions under his belt as the artistic director of the ensemble.
