Gold Prospecting In Vermont Fundraising Event To Benefit The Arlington Lions Club

Location: The American Legion Post 69, Arlington Vermont.
$10 for adults, $5 for kids, under age 5 are free
Food available by donation
All proceeds from this event benefit the Arlington Lions Club for 100% non-profit community projects
What are you waiting for; instead of watching it on T.V., join the modern recreational gold rush here in Vermont! Please arrive for the 11 am start time. Learn about Vermont gold rush history, gold panning techniques, the geology of gold prospecting in Vermont and how to read a river for gold locations from Vermont gold prospecting historian and gold prospector Nelson Illinski. The interactive 1 hour lecture will be followed by hands on gold panning lessons, so that everyone can learn how to pan for gold.
All ages welcome! This is a kid friendly family event!
