There is no better time to get outside than now! Are you and your little one(s) looking for an opportunity to go hiking and learn more about our outdoor world? Join the Green Mountain Club's Burlington Section Young Adventurers Club on our monthly hike to explore local parks and participate in fun educational games and activities.
Our July hike will take place at Centennial Woods for a 1-2 mile hike. This month's educational theme is camouflage! Join us as we learn about how animals in our own backyard use camouflage to blend into their environment.
When: Saturday July 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Centennial Woods, 870 Williston Road, South Burlington, VT 05403
What to bring: Be prepared for a 1-2 mile hike in the woods. Closed toed shoes, backpack, water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray
Who: YAC is open to children of all ages and their adults. Whether it's hiking for the first time or your family is ready to hike the Long Trail, we are inclusive, welcoming and accommodating.
Group size will be limited to 10 people to adhere to Leave No Trace Ethics
